Though the insurance company took some time to approve the estimates, Get Smart was super fast responding and finished the work in two days. They kept me updated on everything along the way as well. Rugania & Ravi Balachandran: ***** Highly recommend James and GetSmart. Extremely punctual, detail, oriented, customer focused. We had a pipe burst and damaged floors and walls. We talked to about five different contractors, and James was the only one who took the time to explain in detail what the steps are with dealing with the insurance company and how things are going to go. The insurance company reduced the initial estimate that James submitted by 6K but we were not surprised because James had warned us about this. James took the time to send them a detailed email pointing out all the mistakes they had made, and where all their estimates were wrong. Insurance company eventually came back with the right amount. All the work from start to finish was done in six days by his crew. The things that were done were: remove about 900 ft.² of old/damaged floors re-level the concrete install new floors, install new insulation and drywall , remove old wallpaper, refinish and texture the drywall and paint. Fix damage on another wall and repaint, etc. James kept us up-to-date regularly with pictures in the morning, and evening of the progress being made. On the final walk through we did not find a single thing that needed fixing / touch up. Overall an absolute pleasure to do business with and highly recommend them. Thank you James and GetSmart for making this as smooth as possible. Keep up the great work!!

John Sperling: ***** I was referred to James by Robert our plumber to fix some water damage we found in our upstairs closet. There was mold present as we didn't see it for a while it was in an unused closet. James came out immediately, identified that the leak was coming from a tile that was somehow totally missing from our tile roof and immediately brought his crew out to rip out the problematic drywall and see the extent of the damage. Robert's crew was very careful with prep and demo and once demo was done he got his roofer out the very next day for the roof repair. The roofer had somehow found the exact tiles we needed and repaired the plywood, fixed the flashing around the pipe coming out at the leak site and finished in less than a day. After leak testing the repair James then brought his crew out 48 hours later and his crew did the interior drywall repair and repaint which came out perfectly. In the meantime while in the attic James identified a serious leak around the plenums of our AC units, which also had mold inside and needed replacing. He got his contact from AC Pros out the same day to look at it, identify the issue and make an appointment to repair it next week. James, his wife and crew cleaned up everything perfectly, there is no sign that anything ever happened in any of the damaged spots. This all happened between a Monday and was finished Thursday! Anyone who has worked with contractors in the past knows this timeline is impossible, yet James and his crew got it done! I'd highly recommend James and Get Smart for any and all issues with your home. If he doesn't do it himself he knows someone who will and he only refers to pros like himself. Thanks James we'll use you again in a heartbeat if we need repairs or restoration work!
